by XTERRA on 01/12/2021

With the announcement of the XTERRA Trail Marathon Series, 2021 is set to be better than ever for the XTERRA family and long-distance trail runners. The exciting new 10-race series bolsters the current XTERRA calendar while offering runners the chance to discover new destinations within the discipline of long-distance trail running.

On March 28, the series commences on the southern tip of Taiwan with the XTERRA Kenting Trail Runs. The calendar is made up of five existing XTERRA Trail Marathon races and five exciting new races thanks to partnerships with popular, established events across Europe. While the marathon distance forms the core distance of the series, the events also offer something for everyone–from 5km to ultra-distance, and athletes can enjoy the famous XTERRA atmosphere.

"There's a strong connection between our off-road triathlon family and the global trail running community and we look forward to welcoming new XTERRA fans to the series. We remain committed to protecting our environment while providing athletes the opportunity to explore new locations and conquer their sporting goals!” - Konstantinos Koumargialis, XTERRA Europe Marketing Director
